Head Injuries - Recovery, Treatment and Physiotherapy
Some who has suffered a head injury, depending on the severity will suffer with a range of physical problems. It’s essential that each patient is individually assessed so that their particular problems can be identified. It is only following extensive assessment that a physiotherapy treatment plan can be devised that is appropriate for that person. This has to be a two or three way process to involve carers as well as the person suffering the head injury, so that they can prioritise their needs for example the person may wish to work on muscle tone reduction and range of movement in their lower limbs, to promote better sitting posture, or work on sitting balance so that they can sit unsupported and work at a desk.
At Sky Blue Therapy we aim to reduce the impact of the symptoms produced by your head injury on your life, and so promote maximum functional independence, improve your feeling of wellbeing, reduce muscle spasm, promote progress and so give you the chance to do as much as is possible.
